• Prince George's school fees are slightly more expensive than his younger sister, Princess Charlotte's.
  • The two young royals will start at Thomas's Battersea in west London next week.

Princess Charlotte has a big day ahead of her next week – the young royal is starting school at Thomas' Battersea for the first time, alongside big brother and now-seasoned student Prince George.

And while she's now doubt feeling nervous and excited about her grown-up move, there will be some differences between her time at the school and George's. Namely: it'll cost less for her to attend.

But it's for a good enough reason. According to the school's website, the fees for pupils are less for every child of the same family that attends. Fees for the Reception and Year Two-tier are £6,429, while the charge for the second child is £6,305.

If Prince Louis also attends, his fees will drop down to £5,790.

Prince George is also a pupil

Princess Charlotte will be moving to Thomas' as a reception student. She has been a pupil at Willcocks Nursery in Kensington since January 2018.

Earlier this year it was announced that she'd be joining her older brother. Headmaster at Thomas’s Battersea, Simon O’Malley, said the school were 'delighted' to welcome another young royal.

'We are delighted that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have decided that Princess Charlotte will join her elder brother, Prince George, at Thomas’s Battersea,' he said in a statement.

'We greatly look forward to welcoming her and all of our new pupils to the school in September.'

We wonder if George will be showing her the ropes?
