Days after Meghan Markle spoke at a kick-ass panel for International Women’s Day, telling the world of her baby, ‘I feel the embryonic kicking of feminism,’ it has been reported one of her staff members is departing her team.

According to Harper’s Bazaar, the Duchess of Sussex’s assistant private secretary Amy Pickerill, who can often be seen at public events holding flowers for the pregnant royal, is leaving her position.

Amy is leaving after the arrival of the baby. The Duchess will be very sad to see her go, but is excited for her as Amy has exciting plans ahead including spending some time abroad.

Amy had originally planned on staying until at least the end of the year, but with the baby coming it makes sense to help recruit someone now who can pick up when The Duchess returns to her official work.

They will definitely stay in touch and Amy will be on hand for any advice and help that is needed in the future.

Thankfully, it is believed Meghan has known for months that Pickerill was planning on leaving.

The news comes after reports surfaces that Meghan and Prince Harry’s private secretary Samantha Cohen also plans to leave her role post-royal birth.

And whilst of course we’re sympathetic to the pregnant Duchess’ change of staff so close to her birth, we can’t help but get exited at the prospect of filling those positions.

Brb, just going to dust off our CVs real quick.
