They also reported, however, that it is in fact their finances which mean they need to move.

‘One source suggested yesterday that the sudden move is down to the fact they are struggling to pay for the upkeep of two properties, particularly as the building works on Frogmore Cottage are expected to cost up to £3million.’ The Daily Mail reported.

Either way, it looks like the parents-to-be are heading over to Frogmore Cottage in March, fingers crossed it’s renovated in time.

It has been well-documented that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and their Spring-due babe, will be moving into Frogmore Cottage after renovations are complete.

The ‘Cottage’ (it’s got 10 bedrooms) sits on the Frogmore Estate in Windsor, and was where the couple shot their epic engagement photographs.

After turning down Apartment 1, next to Kate Middleton and Prince William’s property Apartment 1a in Kensington Palace, their intent to move to Frogmore was announced. However, it was unclear where the trans-Atlantic couple would settle in the mean time.

Now, The Sun has revealed that the pair are currently hiding out in a Grade-II listed country retreat in the Cotswolds, and they have an exclusive picture, showing a converted barn and a lovely lawn.

The 18th century home is set in ‘four acres of rolling Oxfordshire hills, boasts four bedrooms with one converted into a dressing room’. By our count that’s one for Harry and Meg, one for baby, and one for us when we visit.

The Sun reports that they have had plenty of their celebrity pals to stay already including George and Amal Clooney (who also have a home in the Cotswolds), Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian as well as newly-married Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas.

A source reportedly told the publication: ‘It’s a fabulous place with stunning views and extraordinarily private.

‘It’s set in a small bowl of beautiful countryside so is not overlooked in any way.

Meghan adores the area. She and Harry love walking the dogs there, and they can entertain their friends in complete solitude.’

We’re waiting for our dinner party invite.
