Michelle Obama surprised us with a flying visit to the UK on December 3, 2018 and beyond delighting her audience with nuggets of wisdom, she also made us green with envy by holding a private meeting with the Meghan Markle.
Giving us a little bit more time to prepare, the former First Lady has today announced that she will be returning to the UK early in 2019 and we all have the opportunity to pay her a visit. Huzzah!
Using her bestselling memoir - Becoming: An Intimate Conversation with Michelle Obama - as a springboard, she will be appearing at London's O2 arena on Sunday April 14, 2019.

As well as the event in London, Michelle Obama has announced events in five other cities acrosss Europe – Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, Paris, and Amsterdam – as well as 15 further events across the US and Canada.
Of this further tour, Michelle Obama says: 'I couldn’t be more excited to visit even more cities across the country and around the world. I’ve been so humbled by the response to the tour thus far and the overwhelming interest we’ve received from so many communities we weren’t able to visit this year.
'That’s why I’m thrilled that we’re able to expand our conversations to these new settings and wider audiences. I can’t wait to continue the discussions that have been so meaningful for me and, I hope, for so many others.'
