Khloé Kardashian has had to relive the difficult moments in which she dealt with Tristan Thompson's cheating scandal while giving birth as Keeping Up With the Kardashians airs each week. And while live-tweeting during the show Sunday, the reality star opened up about how the stress of her relationship took a toll on her body.

When a fan account asked Khloé for advice about breastfeeding, she responded, 'I tried breast-feeding for weeks and weeks! For me it was so painful but I also was not producing a lot of milk. So I had to pump every time she was napping.'

The new mum then shared that the reason she was having trouble producing enough breastmilk was 'I guess due to stress.' On April 10, video surfaced of Tristan allegedly making out with another woman. Khloé gave birth to their daughter, True Thompson, just two days later. So, yeah, that theory makes sense!

In a separate tweet, Khloé said that she decided to switch to formula milk, but only as a last result.

'I tried literally EVERYTHING!!,' she wrote. 'Doctors came to check, I met with the lactation specialist, I did power pumping, I drink the tea, ate the cookies, did special massages etc. it just wasn't working for me. Once True started losing weight bc of it. I had to give her formula.'

According to Dr. Shivani Patel, who specialises in maternal-foetal medicine, stress is 'the No. 1 killer of breastmilk supply, especially in the first few weeks after delivery.' In an article titled, 'Your Pregnancy Matters,' Patel advises mothers who are having trouble lactating to 'seek and accept help from your partner, family members, and friends so you can rest, recover, and maintain an adequate milk supply.'

On Twitter, some of Khloé's followers reminded her that she is not the only one who has dealt with similar struggles.

'You’re not alone,' one person wrote. 'I too wasn’t producing enough milk and had to supplement formula the 1st week since my babes lost too much weight. It broke my heart but we do what we have to for our babies.'
