Stop right now! Because the day has finally come. After months of wishing and hoping that the Spice Girls reunion would transcend mere rumour and become a fully fledged fact, it's actually gone and happened.

Yup, the 90s girl group and all round icons have confirmed that they will be reuniting to perform several UK dates in 2019. Best. News. Ever.

The only downside? The legendary five Spices will now only be four, with Victoria Beckham choosing not to join her fellow Spice Girls for the comeback dates.

According to The Sun, Scary, Ginger, Baby and Sporty Spice (Mel B, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, and Melani Chisholm respectively) will reunite for a thirteen date UK tour next year, which includes three nights at Wembley stadium.

As of yet, Beckham hasn't revealed her reasoning for not joining the tour, however, with a fashion empire to run and a family of four children to look after, we can imagine she's got a lot on her plate already.

Legendary music manager and ex-manager of the Spice Girls, Simon Fuller, will be overseeing the nostalgic return, with reports that each member of the group will receive around £9 million if the dates sell out.

Fuller has previously spoken about Victoria's unease at being in the group, telling Global News in 2016 that Posh 'didn’t feel comfortable' in the band.

Either way, we'll be hovering over the 'add to basket' button with more excitement than Meatloaf driving a bus over Tower Bridge. If you know, you know.
