Last night, Travis Scott dropped the first music video from his Astroworld album, for the song ‘Stop Trying To Be God’.

The biblical work stars Scott as a bearded God in the sky and a Jesus-like character baptising people in a river.

Lambs and goats are a recurring image in the video, also a religious reference to Jesus being a shepherd of men.

Scott, whose real name is Jacques Webster, also invited his girlfriend and baby mamma to be a part of the visually rich music video.

Kylie Jenner is seen twice in the song looking radiant and glowing gold, appearing as a shining Mary figure.

The first time we see Stormi's mother, she is cradling Scott, while the second time, at the close of the video, she is seen holding another lamb.

Many fans are celebrating the song's video, however, some have noted the similarities to Ariana Grande's music video for 'God is a Woman'.

Both directed by Dave Meyers, the shorts share similar elements.

Some fans even believe that Grande can actually be seen in the background of one of the shots, meaning the newly-engaged singer would be totally fine with the similarities.

There's been no word from either of the artists as to whether Grande was involved. Instead, Scott shared a rare picture of baby Stormi on his Instagram to celebrate the music video's release.
