Here’s a question for you – what does Ryan Reynolds love more than trolling people on Instagram and promoting his film-baby, Deadpool? Combining the two passions, of course.
Fortunately for the actor, his latest Instagram post has allowed him to do just that, while also featuring none-other than footballing legend and father-of-four, David Beckham.
This afternoon, the 40-year-old posted an Instagram video of Beckham watching a clip from his first Deadpool film in which his antihero character jokes: ‘Ever heard David Beckham speak? It’s like he mouth sexed a can of helium’.

In the clip, the straight-faced Brit replays the quote before lifting his phone to read a text from Deadpool which reads ‘I’m sorry, forgive me’ along with a kiss emoji.
Deadpan later turns up with a glass of milk and a plate of cookies, balloons, a Mexican mariachi band, and tickets to a football game.
In the end, the pair embrace in a ‘healing hug’ before Deadpool compliments the star on smelling like cinnamon.
Reynolds captioned the post: ‘Little known fact: Canadians are born with a black belt in apology.’
The Golden Globes winner’s latest Instagram joke will come as welcome relief to his wife who is the fodder for the majority of his hilarious posts.
Over the years, the couple have joked about each other’s hair, the state of their marriage, lack of baking skills, and celebrated each other’s birthdays with the most cutting of snaps.
Last week, Blake temporarily cleared her Instagram account of all content, unfollowed everyone (including Reynolds) and followed 30 women named Emily Nelson, which is the name of Blake's character in her latest film, A Simple Favour.
Fortunately for Reynolds, the move was simply a publicity stunt but that didn’t stop the actor opening up about the shocking unfollow.
'Yeah she did. Very sad about that. Definitely stings. It’s a terrible way to find out that I’ve been kicked out of the house, to be honest. Absolutely terrible,' Reynolds joked in an interview, continuing, '"Mommy unfollowed Daddy on Instagram." My child would just fart and then walk away.'
Anyone else now craving a 'healing hug' from Reynolds?
