Debbie and her cohorts — played by Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter — must slip into the celebrity-filled Met Gala in New York City undetected in order to steal socialite Daphne Kluger's (Anne Hathaway) priceless jewellery.
Sarah Paulson recently told Digital Spy that working with such an impressive female-led cast has been one of the biggest highlights of her career.
"It was extraordinary to look around the room and see Cate Blanchett, whom I've worked with twice now, with Sandra Bullock, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and Awkwafina," she remembered. "It was a very empowering place to be – and it was really fun.
"We have a text chain going that's one of the most epic things. If my phone was stolen, it would be eye-opening! I'm sure I'm just inviting everyone to hack my phone now."
Ocean's 8 will arrive in UK cinemas on June 22, after opening in the US on June 8. Watch a previous trailer below:
