Think of Poppy Delevingne and it’s hard not to conjure up images of the London glitterati that reigned supreme in the late-2000s. So, today, when the model and actor dropped her first collection with British brand Nobody’s Child, we felt a real pang of nostalgia.

Long before influencers were ten a penny, we looked to the likes of Poppy and her sister Cara Delevingne, Sienna Miller, Alexa Chung, baby Suki Waterhouse, Laura Bailey and their various aristo-socialite friends for inspiration. They were cool, effortlessly beautiful, messily stylish and – aside from Alexa – that London-specific shade of dirty blonde that defined a bygone era.

These women teamed vintage tea dresses and #oldTopshop minis with Chanel ballet flats and battered Mulberry or Balenciaga handbags slung into the crook of their arm. They loved a good festival – to which they’d definitely be wearing denim cut-offs, sequins and something crochet. They had a penchant for smudged eyeliner and McQueen scarves, and always saved their Burberry Prorsum (RIP) bits for Sunday best.

Poppy Delevingne has captured that special moment in British history – which couldn’t feel more relevant thanks to the rise of Y2K fashions and a return to bohemia – so perfectly with her new collection. Launching today, May 8 2025, this is Nobody’s Child’s second celebrity collaboration, following a long-standing partnership with Fearne Cotton.

The British brand has been working with Poppy on this collaboration since last summer, and shot the campaign imagery before she entered the later stages of her pregnancy.

Out of the 30-strong lineup, we're betting the leopard print shorts and flounced Chloé-inspired dress are most likely to sell out. But if we could advise you on the pieces that’ll go the distance in your wardrobe, it’s the ‘90s-inspired slip dresses: the lace-trimmed nightie style in scarlet satin, the black mini printed with roses and the ditzy red sundress.

There are also some great wedding guest looks to choose from, like the ruffled, polka dot midi and a yellow camellia-print maxi. And while Glasto may only come once a year, there are festival-ready pieces in this collection that are truly timeless: a ‘60s-inspired granny square mini, a black dress halterneck crochet and boho blouses galore.

The collection sits at an affordable sweet spot between £49 and £150. Nobody's Child is known for its inclusive sizing up to a UK24, although this particular lineup sees an offering of a UK4-UK 18.

However, where Nobody's Child redeem itself is with its eco credentials. Lest we forget, the British brand was one of the first sans hopsack smocks and harem pants to enter into the 'sustainability' chat. When the label launched in 2015 it's use of deadstock fabrics felt revolutionary.

This ethos is still present in 2025 and each item in the Poppy Delevingne collection comes with a 'Digital Product Passport', in the form of barcode shoppers can scan to find out where the fabric was sourced, and how the item was made.
