Acne Studios SS19 Just Served Off-Duty Ballerina With A 70s Twist
Ballet but make it wearable.

Silk slippers, sheer tights with stirrups and pastel yellow leggings-meets-leg warmers are just a few nods to the ballet world Acne Co-Founder and Creative Director Jonny Johansson's served up in his SS19 collection.
Flowing post-rehearsal midi skirts in lemon and aquamarine, Studio 54-worthy lurex silver socks and flip flops, and fitted leather bodices in a palette of tan gave the dance-inspired collection a 70s workwear twist that was pleasingly wearable.
Post-show Johansson said he envisioned the lineup as four acts: rehearsal, onstage, off-duty, and evening, with the latter section incorporating Black Swan-esque feather pumps and embellished beaded swans on tuxedo lapels.
An outfit for every part of a dancer's day, a collection for every part of our wardrobe. We'll take two of the satin slippers.
