Just two months into the year, we have already seen the stars flock to Los Angeles to attend the glamorous Golden Globes, Grammys and Critics Choice Awards – but now, at long last, it's finally London's turn to host the festivities. The 2025 BAFTAs (officially called the 78th British Academy Film Awards) take place this evening, on February 16, at the Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall, and the celebrity red carpet arrivals have already begun.
One of the first major ceremonies in this year's highly anticipated awards season, the BAFTA Film Awards are always a delight to watch – as much for the fabulous fashion on the red carpet and excellent celeb-spotting, as for the rousing acceptance speeches and recognition of some of the best screenplays of the year.

Hosted by David Tennant, this year's BAFTAs see some of the biggest names in film descend on the red carpet in their very best fashion finery and endless looks to swoon over. Former ELLE UK cover star and Wicked protagonist Cynthia Erivo arrived in a custom Louis Vuitton lace gown, Pamela Anderson made an appearance in a plunging Jacquemus dress, while Camila Cabello sparkled in a crystal-embellished lingerie-inspired ensemble – and that's just in the first few hours.
