Madison spoke to ELLE US for its Women in Hollywood issue about why she became an actress. 'I just had a yearning for a different kind of connection that I wasn’t feeling, that I wasn’t getting — something I was searching for inside myself manifested in me wanting to be an actor,' she shared. 'I can’t pinpoint a specific moment when I was like, "I want to be an actor, and this is why." Something was pulling me toward it. I was, in my teens, very awkward and uncomfortable with myself. I was looking for something to be a bit emotional, and I think I found it.'
Anora represents a breakthrough moment in her career. For years, she had been 'falling in love with characters and fighting to get in the door and having it not happen,' she said. But now, 'some of those doors are opening back up.'
