But kicking off proceedings in serious style is Gucci, the historic luxury Italian fashion brand that recently announced the shock departure of its creative director Sabato De Sarno.
While rumours are still swirling about what might have gone on behind the scenes – not to mention who might be next in line for the role – it seemed like business as usual at the maison’s Milan show this afternoon, with longtime Gucci ambassadors putting on a united, supportive front.
Front and centre, naturally, was the ‘Brit it girl’ Daisy Edgar-Jones, dressed head-to-toe in the Italian brand for the occasion. The Normal People star arrived at Gucci’s AW25 show wearing a chic black two-piece made up of a buttoned-up, fitted cardigan covered in sequins, and micro-shorts peeping out from beneath.
To make her ensemble suitable for the chilly temperatures, Edgar-Jones paired her set with knee-high leather boots and sheer black tights. If you were in any doubt about how to style hot pants for the winter season, look no further.
