All eyes are on Dakota Johnson. Deep in the midst of the global press tour for Madame Web, the actor is making the most of her time in the fashion spotlight to make daring sartorial moves, while others certify her signature style with looks that feel definitively Dakota.

One such risk is trying on a plunging neckline. One for the brave and well-taped, this silhouette sees the neckline move way beyond the usual to fall closer to the navel than the breastbone. Johnson has championed it twice this week, proving it a personal favourite.

She wore it with a simple choker-style necklace to emphasise the stretch of exposed skin. Next, it was back to the colour palette she knows and loves. Preferring black of late, it's only a shock of scarlet that she leans to otherwise. This vintage dress by Luis Estevez also took on that plunging neckline with an equally open back, flowing to the floor in a pool of crimson jersey. All was left to complete the look was neck of diamond and a Messika diamond ring.

Those looking to emulate would be wise to invest in lengths of bodytape to save on unwanted spillages, while also pulling focus to the neckline by choosing to pull focus to the area with scene-stealing necklaces.
