Emma Stone brought her effortlessly cool style to the New York City Film Festival yesterday.
The actor walked the carpet at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall on Wednesday to attend the premiere of Bleat, an unconventional, surrealist short film by Greek filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos.
Her 'fit both gave a nod to mod style and embraced a big current trend—the 'tights instead of trousers' fad. It was made up of two layered trenches—a cropped beige trench coat layered over a sleeveless double-breasted trench minidress with brown buttons. Underneath, she wore sheer black tights and finished the look with pointy black leather heels with twisted bows at the front. The full look hails from Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2024 collection.

The La La Land Oscar winner accessorised simply, with a thin gold chain necklace and little gold earrings (also from the French fashion house). She wore natural glowy makeup, including a glossy raspberry lip, and had her hair styled in a loose, wavy bob.
Stone stars in the silent, black-and-white Bleat, which tells the story of a beloved man’s death, and in which reality and life’s desires blend with imagination.
Stone and Lanthimos also worked together on this year’s Poor Things, a dark, steampunk rom-com that has received outstanding reviews.
While at yesterday’s premiere, Stone took the stage with the director. 'Go SAG!' she cheered. The two were able to openly discuss Bleat, as the short film secured an interim agreement amid the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, which has paused most activity in Hollywood.
