We've been up to our armpits with see-through dresses lately and the trend is showing no signs of slowing down as Spring draws closer. From the Grammys to the BRITs, the sheer trend is a celebrity fave, alright. And most recently, Lily James made a convincing case for continuing the lewk, stepping out at the UK premiere of What's Love Got To Do With It? in a lime corset dress that's firstly, incredible. And, secondly, très transparent.
For the red carpet event in London's Leicester Square, Lily opted for a vibrant AF custom Miu Miu design in a zesty green hue. The embellished, floor-length gown has visible boning around the waist, reminiscent of a corset, and is lined with a white bra poking out the top. The look is giving 'fierce glam' vibes and I, for one, am VERY here for it. From the back, you can see the dress also features a knee-high slit, revealing Lily's ivory platform heels. As for beauty details, the star wears her brunette lob down in loose curls, while her makeup is dewy and radiant. In short, Lily looks a zillion bucks.
The minimalist jewellery is totally intentional too, keeping the focus on this show-stopping dress.
