Emma Watson made a rare red carpet appearance for the premiere of Little Women at the Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan on Sunday evening.
Posing with her co-stars Saoirse Ronan, Eliza Scanlen, and Florence Pugh, the 29-year-old – who recently described herself as ‘self-partnered’ rocked a vampy, gothic look, dressed in a black Balanciaga SS20 dress which featured ribbon straps and a lace bustier.
The Harry Potter star paired the outfit with a pair of thigh-high velvet boots, a black clutch bag, a thin gold headband and a dazzling diamond-encrusted ear cuff in the shape of an angel wing.

However, on closer inspection of the look and you’ll see that the actress styled her neo-gothic dress by choosing to tuck the hem of the gown into one of her boots.

The actress – who plays Meg March in the upcoming film – wore her hair in a messy chignon with loose curls cascading around her face, and sported a blood-red lipstick.
The Louisa May Alcott-adapted novel, directed by actress Greta Gerwig, is out in cinemas on 26 December.
The gothic vibe continued across the red carpet, with Ronan opting to wear a monochrome Gucci dress with sheer sleeves and aqua-blue gemstones, teamed with a pair of knee-high black boots.
Meanwhile, actor Timothée Chalamet wore an Alexander McQueen suit comprising of a pinstripe vest, a matching pair of trousers and a white pinstripe shirt.
Watson has been sharing several photographs from her time filming the project with her co-stars.
Over the weekend, the UN Women Goodwill Ambassador described her on-screen husband James Norton as ‘the best’ in one black-and-white photograph of them together and posted a candid snap of her sisters in the film tucking into cake between takes.
