For the occasion, Kate looked every inch the regal Duchess, donning a floor length, A-line two-tone Gucci dress.
To complete the look, the Duchess' dress was cinched at her petite waist with a velvet sash and she held a clutch bag in the same mulberry hue. Beady eyed onlookers will also spot the sparkling pale court shoes peeping out from under the layers of skirt.
She had her hair pulled back into a half-up 'do, with curls tumbling about her shoulders and for jewellery, other than her engagement ring, she stuck to a pair of Special Edition morganite earrings by Kiki McDonough, which she wore previously to her sister, Pippa Middleton's wedding.
She joined fellow philanthropists Amanda Pullinger (Chief Executive of 100 Woman in Finance), and also Lauren Malafronte, Chair of 100 Women in Finance Associateion's Board.
The Victoria & Albert museum (V&A for short) is currently also playing host to the much renowned Dior exhibition - titled Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams - so one hopes they allowed Kate a peep in at the glorious Dior dresses while she was at the venue.

Might we suggest having a peek at this similar, two-tone Alex Perry organza dress?
