It's not unusual to choose a big, ostentatious wedding dress these days. Instagram has made the urge to go big or go home more pressing than it ever has been. It is, however, relatively unusual to continue opting for big, showstopping gowns for regular wedding vow renewal ceremonies.
Unusual, that is, unless you are the Queen of Pop.
Beyoncé's 2018 vow renewal service - during which the 37-year-old celebrated her marriage to husband Jay Z, 49-years-old - was kept mostly under wraps.

In September of 2018 Beyoncé let on to her fans that the couple had indeed renewed their vows at some point in the previous 12 months, in order to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
But until now, the public had been feeling the serious absence of that all important dress shot.
In an Instagram post heralding a year of fun and success, Beyoncé allowed us to see just the tiniest glimpse of her full length gown.
Just a glimpse it might have been, but it was enough for the sleuths among us (helped out by a separate Instagram post by the designer herself) to figure out who created the dress and whether we might also be able to get our hands on it.
The off-the-shoulder, mermaid-style column dress was designed for her by Israeli couturier Galia Lahav and is believed to have cost in the region of $15,000 (£12,000).
In Galia Lahav's post, the designer reveals that Beyoncé wore her 'Thelma Gown.'
And luckily for you, the Thelma dress, which is from Lahav's Victoriana Collection, is available to you and me.
According to Lahav, the dress is a 'Victorian style gown with sheer silk sleeves and an elaborate vintage ornament, which forms an off-the-shoulder neckline.'
It also 'Features a detachable bustle train.'
