Katy Perry won't even pretend she liked Meghan Markle's Givenchy wedding dress or preferred it over Kate Middleton's Alexander McQueen one. The singer was asked by Entertainment Tonight about Markle's dress, and Perry was blunt in her criticism. “I would have done one more fitting,” she said. “I’m never not going to tell the truth! One more fitting, but I love you.”
Her royal wedding dress competition between Prince Harry and Prince William's two brides had a clear victor: “Kate, Kate, Kate won, Kate won!” Perry proclaimed.
She did have some nice things to say about Markle and Harry as people though. “I’m so happy for them, and, you know, I don’t know them from Adam, but it’s amazing what she’s doing with all this, her humanitarian efforts. You know, the fact that she’s a proud feminist, I love all that. I support her as another woman and love her and wish them both well.”
