Larsson is the first Swedish designer to win the LVMH Prize. Raised on a horse farm in Strängnäs, Sweden, she is deeply influenced by her mother, a seamstress specialising in fur repair. This upbringing fostered a practical and resourceful approach to clothing, which has become a hallmark of her work. Her designs incorporate utilitarian elements, using only repurposed materials.
