Dua Lipa, ever a fan of the cutout trend, just wore a show-stopping dress for a special night out. It is 1) amazing and 2) looks a tad... familiar? In a post captioned, 'not so baby brothers bday dinner,' we get a close-up of the five-star Dua 'fit.

Let's start with the dress. It's a black slinky maxi; sleeveless with a round high neck. And to add a little *spice,* it's covered all over in large oval cutouts - from her décolletage down to her hips, including her lower back.

Which reminds us a lot of that Kendall Jenner wedding guest dress. You know the one: slashed to the hips with cutouts, it was spectacular, but it also sparked a Twitter debate about whether the dress was 'wedding-appropriate.' (Y'know, that whole etiquette tip your auntie might have given you back in the day about not upstaging the bride.)

Dua styled hers with tiny kitten heel sandals and a party-ready, crystal-covered Balenciaga bag. (Shop similar here.) Kendall kept her accessories simple. Both wore their dark hair down with natural body and movement in it. *Chef's kiss.* Here's Kendall:
