Some artists use paint brushes, watercolor pencils and a blank canvas to flaunt their creative skills.

Introducing trompe l'oeil eyes: the 2017 trend that'll have you Insta-scrolling for days on end.

Trompe L'Oeil - for the uninitiated - is about creating perspective bending designs or artwork so realistic it almost fools you, for just a second.

While there are quite a few artists who I've stumbled across on social media practicing this technique, three in particular have stood out for their super impressive work.

I mean, I knew from about the age of 13-years-old when scrawling on a doodle-pad that my mama didn't give birth to the next Pablo Picasso, but after stalking all of their accounts to a week way past 52, they have me feeling both inspired and basic AF.

Here's me thinking I'm popping with a smokey eye on the lids, when:

Stefania – a 16-year-old artist from London – has replicated paintings of Monet and Vincent Van Gough:

Giulianna Maria – a 19-year-old self-taught make-up artist from America – has snowflakes, fireworks, curly liners, veins and a spider web cut crease:

Tal Peleg – an Israeli make-up artist and blogger – has Beauty and the Beast, Rapunzel, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood and Frozen's Elsa:

So much perfection.
