'I feel that total bleach outs that aren’t toned look a little unfinished. 2021 for me is tones from Champagne blonde all the way through to Sand blondes for a warmer effect. It’s a bit like looking at a paint shade chart with all the subtle soft whites.'
So who does bleached blonde hair suit? 'Everyone!', says Wood. 'I really believe there is a blonde in everyone! Especially, as toning a blonde can really help with skin tone suitability generally. The more bold toned blondes work better on darker skin tones. It’s important to keep it fresh and take out any brassy tones.'
