Happy anniversary to one of the world's most iconic couples, Victoria and David Beckham, who are celebrating 26 years of marriage today. That's more than two decades worth of couple-goal outfits and showstopping hair transformations that will forever live on our mood boards.

To celebrate the occasion, Victoria Beckham took to Instagram to share some personal throwback images of her, David and the Beckham crew. While romantics everywhere will no doubt swoon at the pics, beauty enthusiasts can't help but notice just how memorable her early '00s pixie haircuts were.

While choppy pixies and pixie cuts with bangs are huge trends this year, Beckham truly paved the way for influencing the masses to embrace the extra short haircut. Well ahead of her time, she brought a glossy, high-fashion appeal to the pixie back in the day. Her Posh Spice pixie featured razor sharp, slightly choppy layers, with plenty of volume on top along with side-swept, face-framing pieces.

Her pixie evolved from brunette to blonde, and as it grew out, she began styling it with plenty of texture. Proving that extremely short hair brings just as much drama as long waterfall waves (if not more so!), Beckham sported a bixie (a pixie-bob hybrid) for her nuptials, which she accessorised with a veil-free, Slim Barrett 18-karat gold tiara encrusted with diamonds.
