Halle Berry's latest Instagram post is equal parts stunning and powerful. While posting with afro-textured hair shouldn't still be a statement, it often is, especially when seen on a star we've never or rarely seen it on before, or when worn in un-polished casual styles. But what makes Halle's a statement, is the caption.
The actor shared a hazy, glowing, make-up-free selfie to her Instagram wearing a full and fluffy afro and wrote to fans and followers: 'Sunday serve…my man loves this. Forward all complaints to him.' Putting two fingers up at the idea that men don't find this hair texture sexy. Though studies have found that men are biased toward smoother textures, this is an appropriate situation to say 'not all men'.
She looks breathtaking, and the way the sun is hitting her? It's a really different look when we're used to seeing her with long straight tresses or cropped short styles.
