If 2017 brought us anything good in this world it's a bevy of inspirational hair and makeup looks. From the launch of Fenty Beauty to Bella Hadid's take on Scarface hair, experimental beauty was in full-force this year.

The '90s are back and they're here to stay. Bella Hadid and hairstylist Jen Atkin created this '90s looking blunt bob with roller-under ends that also evokes Michelle Pfeiffer's iconic hair from Scarface.
Buzz Off
Hair took an extreme turn in 2017, much like everything else. Either it was ultra-long and down to your butt, or it was buzzed and shaved. Katy Perry. Kate Hudson, Zoe Kravitz, Kristen Stewart, and Cara Delevingne all joined the short hair club this year—and looked great at that.
Bald Is Beautiful
Cara Delevingne blew our minds with her ingenious hairstyles this year—considering she had almost no hair for more than half of it. Our favourite look? The silver painted and bedazzled scalp at the 2017 Met Gala. No hair, no problem.
