Abergel described the look as a 'glossy, voluminous, 1960s era inspired high glamour look.' He looked to Valley of the Dolls and Barbarella for inspiration to create a 'sexy, full-volume luxurious' style with cascading waves falling over one side.

Abergel started with a 'strong foundation' by applying Virtue The Uplifted Volumizing Whip on roots, and then using Virtue Perfect Ending Split End Serum on ends. 'This helped with volume and making the ends look shiny,' he says.

'I then blow-dried the hair with Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer to create the ultimate volume and shine. After hair was dry I took a 1.25" curling iron and set hair in barrel curls,' he says. 'I let it cool down and then brushed it out.'

'I then backcombed the roots and locked into place with Virtue The Finale Shaping Spray,' says Abergel.

'Finally, I lifted hair into a half-up style and secured with pins and let the rest cascade down on one side,' he says.
