Such is the cyclical nature of beauty that even the most divisive make-up trends resurface seasons later. A case in point? Bleached brows, of course, which are officially trending again.
Joining their co-stars for the London premiere of Nosferatu, actor Emma Corrin confirmed the return of the subversive beauty trend, pairing their freshly bleached brows with a contrasting dark, wispy pixie bob, which also appears to be making a comeback this season.

Posting a carousel of images on Instagram which sees the process of bleaching their brows, and what appears to be an impressive DIY situation, Corrin joins a number of famous faces who are making a compelling case for barely-there brows. In recent years, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Lady Gaga and Halsey have also embraced the tendentious look.
More recently, Sienna Miller has also caught wind of the trend, stepping out for a night out in London with frosty brows, flowing lengths and her signature sartorial uniform, a sophisticated matching suit. Jodie Turner-Smith, who has long experimented with the trend, also attended the Fashion Awards 2024 with bleached brows and a bold, statement-making hairstyle.
Not only does this prove the modern beauty standard for maintaining fuller, fluffier brows is slowly shifting — leaving room to embrace a wider spectrum of aesthetics — but less overt brows also give license to play with make-up and hair in bolder, fresher ways, whether that's embracing attention-grabbing eye make-up or allowing your fresh pixie cut to shine.
That seemed to be the case for Corrin who made a statement in a sheer, butter yellow Alexander McQueen gown and Cartier jewellery on the red carpet last night, along with a striking wispy pixie cut created by hairstylist Daniel Martin. As for make-up, The Crown actor opted for a bold berry lip courtesy of Merit make-up and celebrity MUA Gina Kane.
Corrin is in top billing alongside Lily-Rose Depp and Dakota Schiffer all of whom star in the Nosferatu film and came together for the A-list red carpet premiere last night.
