On Saturday, October 5, Travis Kelce celebrated his birthday with the Kelce Car Jam for the second year, a huge car show and party in honor of the NFL star. Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift was not at the event and fans were wondering why. They were last seen together on September 8 at the U.S. Open.
“She will not be here. I know she’s coming in for the game,” Kelce told Page Six during the party. The Kansas City Chiefs are scheduled to play against the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday, October 7. People reports that the party had plenty of other important members of Kelce’s inner circle, including his parents Donna and Ed, his brother Jason and sister-in-law Kylie, and friends Patrick and Brittany Mahomes.
The Kelce Car Jam isn’t just a party; the car exhibition raises money for 87 and Running, the football player’s nonprofit organization that works with underserved youth in Kansas City and Cleveland.
“This year is the second year we’ve done a car show, basically a block-party style event, that will showcase some of the city’s top automobiles from the Fuel House, a fun car club out here,” Kelce said on an episode of New Heights. “And then I guess a bunch of others that are lined up. It’s gonna be fun. I should have my old school ’70 Chevelle all revved up and ready to rock and roll. But if not, I’ll bring one of the other cars that I have.”
Swift and Kelce were seen together quite a bit this summer as the pop star traveled across Europe with her Eras Tour. As the NFL season geared up again, Kelce headed closer to home for practice and games. Swift will continue her final leg of the Eras Tour in a few weeks, performing in Miami, New Orleans, Indianapolis, Toronto, and Vancouver.
