On Sunday, Selena Gomez walked the red carpet at the 2025 BAFTA Film Awards in London wearing a sparkling crystal-covered custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown. The gorgeous ensemble hugged her curves, before ending in a column skirt that just brushed the floor. The low-cut bodice had a halter neckline with an underdress of black velvet that came off her shoulders in short capped sleeves.
Gomez wore the look with a number of Tiffany & Co. Archives pieces for even more glitter, including earrings in platinum with diamonds, as well as matching bracelets and rings. She had her hair up in a sleek bun and sported a red manicure for a pop of color.
Gomez is nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category at the event for her role in Emilia Pérez, competing with Ariana Grande for Wicked, Felicity Jones for The Brutalist, Jamie Lee Curtis for The Last Showgirl, Isabella Rossellini for Conclave, and Zoe Saldaña, also for Emilia Pérez.
The actress and musician just released new music with her fiancé, Benny Blanco. Their debut song, “Scared of Loving You,” came out just in time for Valentine’s Day. The couple offered their first joint interview to Interview to promote the work, and the star opened up about what it was like collaborating with Blanco.
“Sometimes it’s difficult for me to speak up,” Gomez admitted. “Most of my anxiety right now is wanting him to speak because I feel like he’s more talented than I am in this field. It’s like working with a great filmmaker. Whether we were together or not, I think he still would’ve listened to everything that I had to say, and he was able to almost transcribe it into music, into what the feeling of what I was talking about should be. And I really found that to be helpful because this album definitely feels just as much mine as I’m sure it does his.”
