Margot Robbie will be welcoming her first child soon, but during these later days of her first pregnancy, the actress remains out and about, giving paparazzi glimpses at her maternity style here and there.
Yesterday, Robbie and her husband, Tom Ackerley, were photographed heading into a business meeting in Brentwood, California. Robbie stood out in a polished but casual black ensemble, pairing a sheer off-the-shoulder top with matching pants and slides. She wore her blonde, shoulder-length hair down.
Robbie’s appearance comes shortly after news broke that she has been cast as Catherine Earnshaw in Emerald Fennell’s upcoming adaptation of Wuthering Heights. Following Barbie’s awards season run, the star has been spending a little more time behind the camera producing than in front of it.
Robbie is a co-founder of LuckyChap Entertainment. She spoke to Deadline in January about taking a little pause from acting projects. “Everyone’s like, ‘Are you having a break?’” she began. “And I’m like, ‘You do know I’m a producer [with LuckyChap], right? We don’t get a break.’”
She laughed then added, “The producing is 24/7, but on the acting side, this is the longest I haven’t acted on a set, because we finished Barbie in October of 2022. So, it’s already been more than a year since I was on set as an actor, and other than COVID, that’s the first time that’s ever happened.
“I also think everyone’s probably sick of the sight of me for now. I should probably disappear from screens for a while. Honestly, if I did another movie too soon, people would say, ‘Her again? We just did a whole summer with her. We’re over it.’ I don’t know what I’ll do next, but I hope it’s a little while away.”
