Love Island USA Season 7: Where Is the Cast Now?

Espinal, 25, had a rough start when she arrived as a bombshell in episode 4, as none of her connections with Ace Greene, Austin Shepard, and Zak Srakaew worked out. The cardiac nurse from New York City, known affectionately as “Amaya Papaya,” then recoupled with Bryan Arenales, and they were crowned season 7’s winners.

The two continued their relationship outside of the villa, visiting each other often in New York and Boston. At the reunion, they appeared to be in good spirits, and Espinal even described their dynamic as “healthy and great” after Arenales cleared up accusations of infidelity.

However, after the episode aired, fans noticed that the two weren’t following each other on Instagram anymore. Espinal confirmed that they broke up in an Instagram Stories post on August 27, writing: “Bryan and I are no longer together. After leaving the villa, it became very clear that we were on two different journeys. Our visions didn’t align and relationships are supposed to be a team sport. You don’t have to drink the whole sea to know it’s salty. All love here and I truly wish him the best.”

As for the prize money, Espinal wants to use it to organize a Thanksgiving charity drive, per the TODAY show.

Arenales, a 28-year-old financial accountant, real estate agent, and bartender, joined the show in episode 19. The Boston native tried to ignite a flame with Andreina Santos to no avail and had little time to explore his other interest, Jaden Duggar, before she was dumped from the island.

He then romanced Espinal, and the couple kept dating off-camera after bagging the $100,000 prize. Shortly after, a video of him at a club sparked cheating allegations online. Arenales, the first Casa Amor boy to win Love Island USA, addressed the criticism at the reunion, saying he wasn’t unfaithful. He admitted to having a “lapse of judgment” by giving club goers shots, but maintained that he didn’t cheat.

Still, the couple announced their split two days after the reunion aired. “Amaya and I have decided to go our separate ways,” Arenales shared on Instagram Stories. “Unfortunately, we were not on the same page and that is okay. We have both gained clarity that we are on different paths right now. I am thankful for the time we have spent together and I wish her nothing but the best moving forward.”

Carthen, a 27-year-old Tuskegee University alum, spent weeks exploring a connection with Taylor Williams after turning down the Southern bombshell Jalen Brown. But things ended when Williams chose to only pursue Clarke Carraway, a Casa Amor addition. Carthen then coupled up with Nicolas Vansteenberghe—one of the original islanders with whom she shared a friendship that slowly turned into a romance. They made it to the finale, coming in second place, and are still dating. They’ve even starred in a commercial and an ad campaign together.

At the time of filming the reunion, they hadn’t made things official—saying they didn’t want to put a label on their relationship yet—but they plan to continue traveling and adventuring together. At the reunion, Carthen also tearfully questioned why one of her closest friends in the villa, Huda Mustafa, didn’t publicly denounce her fan base’s racism toward Carthen. The two ended the conversation cordially, but whether their friendship will bounce back remains to be seen.

The 24-year-old nurse from Florida showed romantic interest in different islanders, including Carthen, Belle-A Walker, and Cierra Ortega. He decided to focus more on Ortega, and eventually, they became exclusive. When Ortega was removed from the villa after her past social media posts with an anti-Asian slur resurfaced, Vansteenberghe was left single. But that didn’t last long as he and Carthen rekindled their courtship.

He and Carthen are still going strong and have taken trips to Disneyland and Greece together. Vansteenberghe said he hasn’t spoken to Ortega since leaving the villa and doesn’t plan to after feeling shaded by her on social media.

Ortega, 25, joined Love Island USA as a bombshell at the beginning of the season and had a weeks-long romance with Vansteenberghe. After producers sent the Arizona native home over her past social media posts, she addressed the controversy in a video, saying: “While I was in the villa, there were some posts that resurfaced from my past where I was very naively using an incredibly offensive and derogatory term. I want to first start by addressing not just anyone that I have hurt or deeply offended, but most importantly, the entire Asian community. I am deeply, truly, honestly so sorry. I had no idea that the word held as much pain, as much harm, and came with the history that it did, or I never would have used it.”

Bissainthe, 27, struck up a romance with Ace Greene, whom she actually met before coming on the show. Throughout the season, Bissainthe got to know other men in the villa, including Austin Shepard and the Casa Amor bombshell Chris Seeley. Ultimately, she chose to focus on growing her connection with Greene, and they became an exclusive couple during their Hideaway date in episode 33. However, they were dumped from the island in the following episode after receiving the fewest votes for America’s favorite couple. At the reunion, Bissainthe said they’re still exclusive and are “waiting for the perfect moment” to make things official.

Bissainthe also aired out her grievances with Mustafa, whom she felt perpetuated narratives that characterized her as a “mean girl.” By the end of the episode, things between the two seemed relatively amicable, though it’s clear they’re not as close as they once were.

Greene, a 22-year-old dancer and TikTok star from Los Angeles, was open to different connections on Love Island, but prioritized his relationship with Bissainthe. They’ve continued to date outside of the villa, and during the reunion, Greene hinted at his plan to ask Bissainthe to be his girlfriend.

Brown, a 25-year-old model from L.A., coupled up with Huda Mustafa in episode 1. The duo had an up-and-down romance, riddled with claims of love-bombing, heated arguments, and criticism from other islanders who said Brown and Mustafa weren’t exploring enough connections. He was voted off by the guys in episode 18. He later opened up about his tumultuous relationship with Mustafa and his tense exchanges with some of the villa guys. He spoke his piece at the reunion, repudiating Mustafa’s love-bombing accusations and criticizing Greene for contributing to his dumping.

A fitness coach from Raleigh, North Carolina, Mustafa made her mark early on in the season. The 24-year-old mom—or mamacita, if you will—had a turbulent first few weeks alongside Brown.

Mustafa later coupled up with Seeley, whom she met at Casa Amor, and their romance helped send them to the finale. But their incompatibility and communication issues proved insurmountable: They ended things during an awkward final date after Mustafa said she just wanted to be friends.

At the reunion, Mustafa was in the hot seat as her former castmates, namely Carthen, Bissainthe, and Chris Seeley, questioned some of her comments and insinuations about them in the press. The vibes were pretty fraught, but time will tell if they’ll be able to fully reconcile.

In terms of her current dating life, Mustafa stayed mum, claiming she couldn’t legally discuss it, per a directive from Netflix. Word on the street is she’s been getting close with a certain Too Hot to Handle star.

Seeley, a 27-year-old professional basketball player from L.A., explored connections with both Bissainthe and Mustafa. He coupled up with Mustafa, and they made it to the finale only to split up in the last episode. Seeley, who took issue with some of Mustafa’s post-villa interviews, said he doesn’t see them being friends.

Williams, a 24-year-old equestrian, rodeo competitor, and vet school student, coupled up with Carthen early on. But their romance turned rocky when the Oklahoma City native became less invested in making things work. During Casa Amor, he met Clarke Carraway, and they remained a couple but were dumped in episode 32.

Since leaving, they’ve continued to see each other and have even shared a handful of post-villa snapshots, including a commercial, on Instagram.

Carraway, 24, is a self-described “peer mentor” and behavioral health specialist, according to Blavity. She shared an exclusive romance with Williams in the villa, and they’re still together. Carraway confirmed that she even visited Williams in Oklahoma and met his family.

The 28-year-old English model and actor formed a bond with Hannah Fields in the villa. After Fields was forced to recouple with Garcia, Georgiou’s fellow islanders voted against saving him, and he left the show in episode 12.

During the reunion, Georgiou called his dumping “brutal” and admitted to having a difficult time seeing Fields move on. But he assured Fields that he doesn’t feel any negativity toward her.

From Tucson, Arizona, Fields is a 24-year-old bartender and medical student at the University of Arizona. She entered the villa as a bombshell and formed a connection with Georgiou soon after. They coupled up and seemed to have a good bond. However, the public voted to put Fields in a new couple with Jose “Pepe” Garcia, another bombshell, causing Georgiou to be dumped from the island.

Fields and Garcia developed a solid relationship that was cut short when Fields was voted off by the other women in episode 18—a decision that was heavily scrutinized by viewers. Unseen footage of the women’s deliberation aired during the reunion, bringing Fields to tears. “It hurts, but I understand,” she said. “It feels better to know now, I guess, the explanation, because I think that’s what I struggled with a lot.” As far as her romances with Georgiou and Garcia go, those chapters are closed.

Garcia, 27, was born in Madrid, Spain, but moved to L.A. when he was young. A retired professional basketball player, he now owns a gym and works as a personal trainer.

After Garcia’s first interest, Fields, was eliminated, he tried moving on with Casa Amor’s Gracyn Blackmore. But his connection with Blackmore wasn’t as strong, and he ended things with her shortly before she was dumped from the villa. Garcia remained single until he and Iris Kendall developed chemistry. They coupled up, finished their Love Island journey in fourth place, and continued to date.

They said they were exclusive at the reunion, but unfollowed each other on social media sometime after, which sparked breakup rumors.

The 25-year-old Los Angeleno reportedly owned a spray-tan company at one point, but now seems to focus on beauty and lifestyle content creation. She showed interest in Brown and Zac Woodworth, but gravitated the most toward TJ Palma. They appeared to have a good thing going, but Palma exited the show after receiving too few votes to stay in the villa. (Kendall later confirmed that she and Palma talked after the season ended to get closure.)

Kendall coupled up with Garcia, and they came in fourth at the finale. After wrapping, they exclusively dated for a bit. But their relationship seemed to hit a rough patch, and their status is unclear.

Originally from Pleasantville, New York, Palma is a 23-year-old college baseball champion and Tampa-based Airbnb superhost. During his 10-day run on the show, he coupled up with Casa Amor islander Savanna “Vanna” Einerson, but decided to focus on connecting with Iris Kendall.

He was dumped in episode 27 and later told Us Weekly that he supported Kendall’s decision to stay in the villa despite her tearful reaction to his departure.

Walker, 23, was originally born in Oregon but moved to Honolulu, Hawaii. She models and worked as a barista at her family’s coffee shop. She explored a connection with Vansteenberghe at the beginning of the season, but it didn’t work out. Walker was dumped from the island in episode 6 when she wasn’t chosen during a recoupling.

After filming the show, Walker and Brown sparked romance rumors when they appeared to stay in the same vacation house together. But, at the reunion, they confirmed that they’re just friends, with Walker saying she wants to focus on herself.

Walker, who is of Asian descent, also spoke out about Ortega’s indiscretion. Per People, Walker posted a statement on her Instagram Story, writing, “As a proud Asian American woman, I’m deeply appreciative of the Love Island USA producers for taking a stand and making it clear that racism of any kind is not tolerated.” She went on to denounce hate directed toward Ortega, adding, “Please think twice before leaving unkind comments to or about this person.”

Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Shepard is a 26-year-old pool cleaner. He got to know multiple women in the villa, including Bissainthe and Espinal, but formed a deeper connection with Casa Amor castmate Jaden Duggar. He and Duggar were dumped from the island in episode 27 after the islanders chose to save Williams and eliminate five other castmates. The two stopped seeing each other shortly after.

Post-villa, Shepard also addressed backlash from viewers for allegedly reposting several racist and other controversial videos on TikTok before his time on the show.

A 25-year-old corporate investigator, Duggar quickly clicked with Shepard. They coupled up and remained together until they left the island. At the reunion, Duggar said they stopped pursuing a romantic relationship after Shepard started dating other women without being transparent with her.
