Meghan Markle’s new Netflix lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan, is finally out. Meghan celebrated the project’s release in New York City yesterday evening, with the Duchess of Sussex making a surprise appearance at a special screening of the series for her longtime fans.
Her children, 5-year-old Archie and 3-year-old Lilibet, also fêted their mother’s milestone with a handmade card and flowers. They got a little help from their dad, Prince Harry, of course.
Meghan posted an Instagram Story featuring the tribute they made. “Congratulations mumma!” it read. “We love your show and we love you.”
Earlier this week, People ran a new interview with Meghan, where she spoke about how Archie and Lilibet visited her on the show’s set.
“Archie did the [filming clapboard]! Sweet moments,” Meghan said. “They would also come with my husband and visit me on-set, and I loved that my children were able to watch me working and see the balance of that and understand what Mama does and is working to create and share. It was really special because, up until then, they hadn’t seen me at work.”
She expressed her hope that “when they get old enough, they feel really proud that they were part of the beginning of this with me.”
With Love, Meghan was shot at a nearby rental house rather than the Duchess of Sussex’s home in Montecito, California.
The duchess told People that she chose not to film the show in her own house because of Lili and Archie. “I wanted to protect that safe haven,” she said. “We’re a close-knit family, and I love those moments—putting Lili down for a nap, having lunch together, having sacred time together at the end of the day. Our kitchen is where Mama just cooks for the family, and with a crew of 80-plus people, that’s a lot of people to have in your house!”
