Resort season—the clothing delivery that has transformed from just what you wear on vacation to the most wearable offering of all—is currently taking place and already hinting at a new cuts of denim, ancient Greece vibes, and the new It-accessories. Valentino, Oscar de la Renta, and Solace London are thinking big for resort with heavy, wide-legged denim reminiscent of refined JNCOS (hello, adolescence). According to top buyers skinny jeans are out and these looks really drive that home.

If the golden age of jet travel appeals to your style sensibilities, you're in luck this resort season. Designers like Tibi and Stella McCartney are looking to the skies for their next It-bag: a rectangular, PanAm-inspired carryall.

Fendi and No.21 opted for tube sock pairings, while Prada went athletic with compression-style socks to juxtapose its Belle Époque runway theme, proving the socks and heels trend is here to stay.

Tailored suits continue to rule the runway, with new iterations popping up finished in plaid. Look out for Glen plaid, checkered tweed, and more from brands like Louis Vuitton, Monse, and 3.1 Phillip Lim.
