Despite what Kanye might have you think, there is, in fact, room for another buzzy fashion show from a pop star-turned-fashion-designer on the New York Fashion Week calendar.
Tonight's offering comes from Rihanna, who presented her first collection as the creative director of Puma's womenswear.
Here she is creative director-ing:
Unlike Kanye's casual and intimate presentation in front of 18,000 of his nearest and dearest at Madison Square Garden, Rihanna put on a more traditional runway show for Puma, showcasing a cohesive collection of what you might call statement athleisure. She stuck to a black and white color palette, and the styling hewed dark and gothic (see: black lipstick and rosaries).
There were wearable, covetable items like platform creepers, cropped lace-up sweatshirts and matching track pants, oversized hoodies, extra long coach jackets, and boxers.

And Naomi Campbell, fresh from her modeling stint the night before, was on hand to celebrate:
All in all, it was a solid show. Rihanna clearly did her home work work work work work... (sorry).
