How Eiza González Got Ready for the 2022 Met Gala

What’s it like to prep for fashion’s biggest night? It takes a village—if you’re asking Eiza González. The actress, fresh off promoting her new movie Ambulance with Jake Gyllenhaal, hit the Met Gala red carpet in a stunning custom Michael Kors Collection gown—which took artisans over 4,700 hours to hand-embroider using approximately 28,000 crystals and 426 feet of ostrich feathers, according to the designer—paired with Stuart Weitzman sandals. But not before she donned a slip dress (by Bleusalt) and got a healthy dose of glam from her team, who she considers among her closest confidants. “The Met is one of my favorite events to prep for because it allows for such creativity and teamwork with artists who are also my friends,” González exclusively tells ELLE.com.
