Por segunda vez en 2024, Hollywood rindió homenaje a los grandes actores de las series de televisión. Solo han pasado ocho meses desde la ceremonia de los Emmy 2023, que por las huelgas de guionistas se retrasó a enero, y ayer se congregaron las mayores estrellas en el LA Live Peacock Theatre de Los Ángeles para anunciar, de nuevo, a los ganadores de los Emmy.

Después de haber ganado 14 Emmy en las categorías técnicas y creativas, la serie de Disney+ 'Shogun' amplió su éxito hasta los 18 galardones, mientras que 'The Bear', la que parecía ser la gran favorita de la noche, se tuvo que conformar con 'solo' 11 premios; entre ellos los de mejor actor, mejor actor de reparto y mejor actriz de reparto (Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach y Lisa Colón-Zayas).

Sin embargo, en la categoría de Comedia ha aparecido una nueva y seria rival para 'The Bear': se trata de la serie de Max 'Hacks', que se llevó el premio a Mejor serie de comedia, además del de Mejor actriz y otros cuatro galardones más. Entre las miniseries, 'Mi reno de peluche' fue la absoluta ganadora, con cuatro premios, y 'True Detective: Noche Polar' le dio a Jodie Foster el primer Emmy de su carrera.
