New York Fashion Week’s fall/winter 2025 season is in full swing, but at the Longchamp dinner last night, everyone was thinking about spring. At The Foundry in Long Island City, the French fashion brand fêted its latest collection with a garden party-inspired dinner created by James Beard Award-winning chef Sophia Roe, highlighting the theme.

The event, complete with lush flower arrangements and a live string quartet, transported guests to the South of France for a meal inspired by the new wares, including Longchamp’s Le Roseau bag in new shades like beetroot red and ginger yellow. The list of attendees included Zoey Deutch, who sat down with ELLE.com to share what she’s looking forward to this spring. “For me, it’s the vegetables and the weather,” the actress, who’s fresh off her Broadway run in Our Town, shared. “I’ve been in New York for a while, and it’s been very cold, so I’m looking forward to that—and flowers! Maybe a potential vacation, anywhere warm.”

As for spring trends, Deutch finds herself looking forward to the return of boho-chic and looks to her Longchamp Le Roseau as the essential everyday carryall. “It’s classic and it’s timeless; effortless but very functional. I need a bag that I can put a lot of things into…what more could you want?”
