"When I brought 'You Oughtta Know' to radio stations I was told, 'We already have Tori Amos and Sinead O'Connor,' Alanis Morissette told the packed house at Boulevard3 in L.A. "Now you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a woman in music," she smiled, before launching into a stripped down version of 'You Oughtta Know' that had everyone singing along. The beguiling Banks, and Tinashe (a mini Janet Jackson with the moves to match), rounded out the performances at ELLE's sixth annual Women in Music event. Sponsored by eBay, the performers also autographed one-of-a-kind items, all of which are up for auction now, with proceeds benefiting the Grammy Foundation. Have FOMO?
