Last week, as the threat of the COVID-19 outbreak intensified, employees across the country received emails and texts from their bosses to work from home to contain spread of the virus.

Day one probably wasn't too bad: you probably checked off most of the tasks on your to-do list and took a mid-day breather outside for a little vitamin D. Maybe you even used the DB Method that's been nestled in the corner of your living room for months. But now it's day two (six? 42? 365?) of quarantine, and after an endless cycle of scroll-refresh-repeat in the hopes of discovering some good news, you're anxious and even more confused than before.

Stop. Breathe. Open Spotify.

It's no secret that the current state of the world has everyone—including myself—freaked out right now. But if there's anything standing in the way of me and a nervous breakdown, it's the joyful, upbeat sounds playing faintly in the background of my makeshift office-bedroom. Listening to music is a surefire way to relieve the coronavirus blues, so if you're in dire need of a pick-me-up, here's an assortment of tunes to keep you motivated in this new reality, from the mellow "Breathe Deeper" by Tame Impala to Doja Cat's sticky pop earworm "Say So." Not all heroes wear capes—some wear a 20-pound weighted blanket and Lou & Grey sweatpants. You're welcome.
