As Selling Sunset gets ready to enter its ninth season, a new real estate spin-off is hitting the market. While the franchise has already expanded to include Selling Tampa and Selling the OC, its latest addition, Selling the City, transports viewers to New York City. If you live for Christine Quinn’s drama and Chelsea Lazkani’s complicated friendships, you’re going to love the agents selling real estate at Douglas Elliman.

As one of the largest brokerages in the U.S., Douglas Elliman’s agents are used to showcasing seriously high-end properties throughout Manhattan and beyond. From Million Dollar Listing stalwarts to complete reality TV newbies, get ready to meet Netflix’s newest reality TV stars. Here’s what you need to know about the Selling the City cast.

Abigail Godfrey

Abigail Godfrey might hail from Greenville, South Carolina, but she adores New York City. She loves the “gothic buildings, carriage houses, and wrought iron balconies” of Gramercy, and she’s also a huge fan of the Chrysler Building, pointing to its “Art Deco vibe and the many gargoyles,” she told Tudum. Abigail also knows that selling real estate in New York isn’t easy: “To get your foot in the door, you need a whole lot of determination, humility, and some XL cojones.” And in case you were wondering, her favorite Broadway musical is Dear Evan Hansen.

Steve Gold

If you recognize Steve Gold, that’s probably because he was a cast member on Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing New York, which was canceled in 2022 after nine seasons. Steve works at The Corcoran Group, which means he often collaborates with the brokers at Douglas Elliman. His hometown is Stamford, Connecticut, but he currently lives in SoHo, Manhattan, with his wife and young daughter. As well as brokering deals, Steve enjoys renovating properties, telling Tudum he always hopes to “preserve and enhance the bones while layering in contemporary and minimal, wabi-sabi elements. It can look simple to the untrained eye, but the execution is incredibly detailed.”

Gisselle Meneses Nunez revealed on Instagram that she’s a proud Latina and is incredibly serious about her real estate career, which she calls “a high-stakes chess game in stilettos,” according to Tudum. Gisselle also notes that it’s crucial to look “fabulous” if you want to succeed in the city. From Elizabeth, New Jersey, “where we keep it real but dream big,” Gisselle has love for a plethora of Manhattan neighborhoods, pointing to TriBeCa, SoHo, and the Meatpacking District (“circa 2009–2010” specifically) as her favorites. She also recommends Central Park at sunrise and the musical Come From Away.

Taylor Middleton

Taylor Middleton has sold more than $500 million in real estate while working at Douglas Elliman, making her one of the company’s superstar agents. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Taylor has since fallen in love with Manhattan, and TriBeCa in particular. Discussing her adoration of the area, Taylor told Tudum, “It’s the best place to live, work, and play.” She continued, “It’s a neighborhood known for its historic cobblestone streets, cast iron loft buildings, luxury real estate, and [it’s] recently become a cultural hub for art galleries.” When she’s not working, Taylor can be found walking her dog Mac, working out, getting a facial, or attempting to center herself before a big day.

Justin Tuinstra

Justin Tuinstra wants everyone to know just how difficult it is to make it as a real estate agent in Manhattan. “The New York City real estate market is not for the weak-minded,” he told Tudum. “You must have a strong desire to hustle. We actually show our listings—there’s no key lockbox for access.” According to his Instagram profile, Justin has sold more than $500 million worth of property for Douglas Elliman, and he’s passionate about the city he works in. Justin’s favorite Manhattan landmarks include Madison Square Garden, Bowery Ballroom, and Joe’s Pub, and he recommends everyone dines at Peter Luger.

Jordyn Taylor

Jordyn Taylor left Riverside, California for New York City, and she quickly fell in love with Brooklyn. “Nothing beats the calm, culture, and cuisine on the BK side,” she told Tudum. “Plus, the thrifting between Williamsburg and Park Slope is [chef’s kiss]!” Alongside philanthropy, Jordyn counts pizza and the musical Hamilton among her passions. “Not only was the music unlike anything I’d ever heard in a musical, but the intentional multicultural casting was and is so important,” she added. While Grand Central remains one of Jade’s all-time favorite New York landmarks, she understands how important it is to network on a local level. “My local barista knows the tea on the new Naftali development on 77th,” she explained. “As agents, this means we have to be incredibly well-informed at all times.”

Born in Israel and raised in New York, Manhattan is Eleanora Srugo’s hometown, making her the perfect person to sell real estate given her “encyclopedic-like knowledge of the city’s inventory,” she told Tudum. Eleanora would absolutely make Selling Sunset’s Davina envious as she closed a whopping $75 million+ deal in 2023. Unsurprisingly, she maintains a strict regimen to make sure she’s ready for work everyday. “I always wake up at 5 a.m. and find an hour for the gym,” Eleonora told Tudum. “[I]f I have clients I need about an hour for glam. I am all or nothing—either looking like a messy slob or ultra glamorous.”

Jade Chan was “born in Manhattan, raised in Atlanta,” according to Tudum. She’s lived in Chelsea for almost a decade, and she’s passionate about putting her own stamp on real estate. “My current apartment has an industrial aesthetic, but I do like a modern aesthetic with a twist of mid-century furniture,” she told Tudum. Having sold more than $800 million worth of property, Jade currently holds a new development portfolio valued at an impressive $2 billion, according to her Instagram. “The reality behind the New York City real estate world is there are almost 20,000 agents in the city, but only a very small percentage of agents who actually do the majority of the deals,” she told Tudum.
