Brie Larson has plenty of accolades under her belt. The award-winning actress, who got her start by taking on minor television roles in the late ’90s, has acted in some of the biggest films in recent years. Her resume is seriously impressive. First up is Larson's character in Kong: Skull Island. The actress played the photographer and investigative journalist Mason Weaver in the Jordan Vogt-Roberts-directed film. The movie also had a stacked cast including Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, and John C. Reilly.

Next, we have Greenberg, a 2010 Noam Baumbach film starring Ben Stiller and Greta Gerwig. Larson plays the small role of Ben Stiller’s young niece in this comedy-drama that was nominated for four Independent Spirit Awards.

9. Captain Marvel (2019)

Larson transformed into pop star Envy Adams for the 2010 film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. The action-comedy movie, co-written, produced, and directed by Edgar Wright, featured up-and-coming stars at the time like Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza.

7. Trainwreck (2015)

Larson’s performance in Trainwreck certainly was not, well, a train wreck. In it, she plays the role of Kim, the much more put-together sister of Amy Schumer's character, Amy. Even more interesting? Schumer’s actual sister, Kim, was one of the film’s associate producers.

In 2019, Larson took on the role of advocate Eva Ansley in Just Mercy, a biography drama film that centers around the story of famous civil rights defense attorney Bryan Stevenson.
