The fifth season of Love Is Blind has finally arrived on Netflix, with new episodes dropping weekly until the finale airs on October 13. As usual, the season is filled with romance, drama, and so many twists and turn it’s difficult to keep up.
Twenty-eight singles are entering the pods for season 5, each of them hoping to find true love before they’ve even seen the other person. Ranging in age between 24 and 33, the eligible bachelors and bachelorettes will each be hoping to replicate the success of former contestants like Lauren and Cameron Hamilton. Here, we round up Love Is Blind’s season 5 contestants. But will any of them find lasting love?
Izzy
Izzy works in sales and is hoping to find someone who can love him “unconditionally,” per Tudum. The athletic 31-year-old also hopes to find a woman who can keep up with him, whether that’s in the gym or at the beach. Judging by his Instagram account, he’s a fan of snowboarding and isn’t afraid of snakes.
Connor
Connor is a geoscientist who decided to join Love Is Blind after focusing on his career for too long, per Tudum. According to the site, Connor is looking for a special someone to “share [his] dreams and aspirations with and make the most out of every moment [they] have together.” On Instagram, he describes himself as a dog dad who can speak Spanish, and he has a penchant for the outdoors.
Miriam
Miriam is a scientist who has built a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry, but she’s yet to find her person. Per Tudum, Miriam hopes to meet a “sincere, driven, and successful” man on Love Is Blind. The 32-year-old also runs a plant-based skincare line called Zack & Lucy, and loves to travel.
Paige
Stylist Paige is looking for a kind person to share her life, per Tudum. Importantly, her pet peeve is people who are “mean to waiters or staff,” but she’s also had a habit of being “too nice to the wrong people” in the past. She runs fashion store Bikinis and Blazers, and can regularly be found posting chic looks on Instagram.
Milton
Milton is the youngest man entering the pods in season 5, per Tudum. According to the site, the 25-year-old engineer is incredibly ambitious and wants to meet a woman who is just as focused on her career as he is. He’s also a fan of older women. Judging by his Instagram account, Milton likes traveling and hiking in his spare time.
Enoch
A financial advisor, Enoch has apparently enjoyed being single but is finally ready to get serious about love, per Tudum. The 27-year-old is hoping to find someone who is “loyal, passionate, and confident,” with whom he can build a life. Enoch describes himself as “unapologetic,” saying, “I always want to be myself.”
Renee
Renee is a veterinarian who has been super focused on her career for the last five years, which is why she’s still looking for love, per Tudum. She’s searching for a man with a beard, and someone who loves animals as much as she does. Renee’s Instagram shows that she’s a huge fan of traveling, when she’s not being a “dogtor,” that is.
Carter
Carter is the “perfection combination of naive and spontaneous,” according to Tudum. The 30-year-old construction worker enjoys fishing with his friends, and wants to find someone who enjoys his “old fashioned and open-minded” attitude. Most of all, he’s apparently ready to find someone to settle down with.
Josh
Adorably, Josh has been ready for commitment for a long time, as “all [he’s] ever wanted in life is a wife and family,” per Tudum. Describing himself as “open and honest,” the sales rep has been working on himself in order to be ready for his next relationship. According to the 32-year-old’s Instagram account, he’s focused on “God-first living.”
Chris
Project manager Chris has a habit of picking the “wrong women,” per Tudum, but he’s hoping that will change with Love Is Blind. “I’m looking for somebody I can depend on,” he explained. Judging by Chris’ Instagram account, he’s a fan of sports and travel, and he also rides a motorcycle, per Tudum.
Linda
Talent acquisition recruiter Linda is looking for a “respectful, loving, and family-oriented” partner in the pods, per Tudum. The 32-year-old comes from a big Nigerian family, all of whom are apparently ready for her to settle down, too. Linda’s Instagram account proves that she’s a huge fashion fan.
Ernesto
Supply chain manager Ernesto is hoping to “keep the physical out and learn a person’s mind first” in the pods, according to Tudum. According to Ernesto, he has a “chill, lighthearted personality,” but he’s not a fan of “clingy” dates. The 32-year-old’s Instagram account shows that he’s a fan of travel and family.
Shondra
Shondra is a flight attendant who’s yet to find her perfect partner. According to Tudum, Shondra is looking for “that spark” in the pods, and hopes to find a connection that goes “beyond looks.” The 32-year-old wrote, “The key to my heart is remembering small details about me.”
Estefania
Estefania is a high school teacher who also teaches dance, meaning that she’s always on the move. Per Tudum, Estefania believes she’s still single because she’s been “too picky” in past relationships, but she’s also ready to swerve anyone who’s “controlling or dirty.” She’s also a lover of travel, and can regularly be found on the beach.
Maris
Maris is looking for a man who will “bring food home, even if you didn’t ask,” she told Tudum. The 30-year-old HR specialist is family-focused, and hopes to find a partner who will join her for Lao New Year. She’s not afraid of outdoor activities like white water rafting, and she hopes to find someone in the pods who can “deal with [her] strong will.”
Aaliyah
Aaliyah is an ICU travel nurse, meaning that she’s worked all over the country. The 29-year-old is looking for “honesty, loyalty, and consistency” in a partner, who can provide a “pure and gentle” romance, per Tudum. She’s also a foodie, and a singer-songwriter, per her Instagram account.
Lydia
Lydia is “emotionally mature enough to be married,” and she’s looking for “transparency and emotional maturity” in the pods. The 32-year-old geologist is a big fan of communication, and she describes herself as a lover of poetry on Instagram, who can often be found by the pool.
Jarred
Jarred is a university director with a penchant for “dad joke[s].” The 34-year-old says he’s looking to “truly connect with someone and live life with mutual respect and compromise.” According to his Instagram account, Jarred is a cat dad, who loves food, running, and movies.
Uche
Uche has previously put too much emphasis on physical appearance, something he’s hoping to change in the pods, per Tudum. The 34-year-old lawyer is looking for a partner with whom he can form an “us against the world” bond. In addition to being an attorney, Uche is a business owner who loves the outdoors, per his Instagram.
Johnie
Johnie thinks she’s still single because she picks “the wrong kind of man,” per Tudum. Describing herself as indecisive, the 32-year-old hopes to meet someone who knows their own mind in the pods. Johnie is both a lawyer and a certified personal trainer.
