Every Riverdale Character With Their Comics Counterpart
Fred Andrews got a major upgrade.
Almost every character on Riverdale—Vegas the dog included—is pulled directly from Archie Comics, but unless you're an Archie diehard, you might not know how similar many of the show's live-action stars look to their comic counterparts. Riverdale Midge, played by Emilija Baranac, is pretty much the twin of illustrated Midge, but others—Fred Andrews, for example—got a major upgrade for the small screen. Bless the CW for casting Marisol Nichols as Hermione so that Mom Lodge didn't end up looking exactly like Mom Cooper, who was basically her twin in the comics.
