Considering the theme of the 2024 Met Gala’s dress code, “The Garden of Time,” in celebration of The Met’s latest exhibition from the Costume Institute, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” it came as no surprise that the night was teeming with a sense of romance. Springtime greenery transformed the museum’s iconic steps into a forestry setting in the heart of Manhattan while celebrities made appearances in ethereal ensembles honoring the theme for the night. To take the romance up a notch, some even brought their better halves—and we took note.
