Taylor Swift is going the extra mile for her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, as he trains in Miami during his NFL offseason. A source close to Kelce revealed to People that Swift has decided to stay in the Florida city with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end “to support and spend time” with her partner. Kelce will return to Kansas City, Missouri, later this summer for the Chiefs’ official training camp.
Swift and Kelce were photographed at Harry’s Bar & Restaurant in West Palm Beach on May 23. The source explained that “Travis was working on Friday before his dinner date with Taylor. He left early to go meet her.”
As the couple nears their two-year anniversary later this summer, “Travis still seems very happy with Taylor,” the insider added.
While the source did not share whether Kelce has any plans to propose to Swift this year, insiders have spoken about how serious the stars’ relationship has become.
Back in December, a source told Us Weekly that this period where both Swift and Kelce are off work would be important for their future.
“Taylor and Travis are eager to spend quality time together because [that’s when] the little nuances about someone’s personality and habits come into play,” the insider said. “They will learn so much about each other.”
Swift is taking her time with their milestones, the source added: “Taylor does feel like Travis is The One, but jumping in[to marriage] is not her style. That’s just not how she does [things]. Marriage is a big deal, and she wants [it to be] forever.”
In February, an insider told Us Weekly that things were going well, and Swift and Kelce are “on the same page about taking the next step [and getting engaged].”
Last month, a source gave People a little update on their priorities, saying they are “very serious and in sync. They value the same things. Right now, the focus is very much on private time out of the spotlight.”
