After celebrating Justin Bieber’s 31st birthday, Hailey Bieber had a special night out on her own at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. She wore a custom black Saint Laurent column gown with a bow adornment. She accessorized with Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
So why wasn’t her husband with her? Justin’s absence isn’t too surprising, as he very rarely makes red carpet appearances. He and Hailey last did a red carpet together in 2022 at that year’s Grammys:
Justin’s rep recently spoke to TMZ about the state of his health amid chatter. The negative gossip about how Justin is doing is “exhausting and pitiful and shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.”
The rep added that 2024 has been “very transformative for him as he ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.”
Justin and Hailey welcomed their first son, Jack, in August. The couple shared a new family photo with him on Saturday.
On February 24, a source told Us Weekly that Hailey has been looking out for Justin. “Hailey is trying to be as supportive as possible,” the insider said. “It can be hard for Hailey, but she’s always there for him and is understanding.”
The singer’s priority has been fatherhood, the source noted: “He is a really great dad to Jack and is very protective over him.”
In July, Hailey addressed the constant gossip about her and her husband. In an interview with W magazine, she said, “People have made me feel so bad about my relationship since day one. ‘Oh, they’re falling apart. They hate each other. They’re getting divorced.’ It’s like people don’t want to believe that we’re happy. I used to try to act like it hurts less and less. I’ve tried to think that you get used to it at a certain point, that this is what’s going to be said and this is how people are going to be. But I realize that it doesn’t actually ever hurt any less.”
