On Sunday night, Kylie Jenner joined boyfriend Timothée Chalamet at the BAFTA Film Awards in London, where he was nominated for his role as Bob Dylan in the biopic A Complete Unknown. The influencer did not walk the red carpet, but she was photographed sitting with Chalamet in the audience and then later at their dinner table. The pair held hands, whispered to one another throughout the ceremony, and shared a sweet kiss.
Chalamet wore an all-black ensemble with a two-piece suit and black shirt, adding some sparkle with a silver and diamond necklace. Jenner was also in black, wearing a plunging halter dress covered in gleaming sequins with a pair of strappy silver heels. At dinner, she was photographed wearing a large black jacket over her look.
Eagle-eyed fans also noted that the pair were wearing matching Panthere Cartier rings. Chalamet’s was on his right pinky, while Jenner wore hers on her right ring finger.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder later posted photos of the backless halter dress, writing in the caption that it was vintage 1995 John Galliano. She modeled the outfit’s asymmetrical hemline and sequin pattern with some more posts in her Instagram Stories. In one of the photos, a clothing rack of mostly black pieces can be seen hanging, as well as an impressive array of black shoes along the floor.
In January, a source told Page Six that Jenner has been enjoying awards seasons with Chalamet, but does not walk the red carpet because she wants these events “to be all about Timothée, how it was intended to be.”
Another source told People that month that Jenner is “having fun supporting” Chalamet throughout the awards season.
“She enjoys attending the events with him,” the insider stated. “She knows that his career is so important to him. She wants to be by his side for it all.”
Jenner is “really making an effort” to be at events and she is “the happiest” she has been in a relationship.
The source added, “They are very serious. Everyone in her family loves him.”
